Intervention Teacher – Fixed Term (1 Academic Year)

Salary: M1 - M6

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Location: Plymouth (Reed working in partnership with a local school)

We are excited to offer a unique and rewarding opportunity for a qualified teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis for one academic year. This role involves working with a small group of KS2 pupils who are currently performing below their expected academic level. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet both academic and SEND needs, helping to close the educational gap.

Day-to-day of the role:

Plan and deliver effective lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with varying academic and SEND requirements.

Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of pupils.

Work collaboratively with other staff members to monitor and support pupil progress.

Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching practices.

Contribute to the school's ongoing development and improvement plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS2.

Strong understanding of SEND and adaptive teaching practices.

Proven ability to plan and deliver effective lessons that meet pupils' needs.

Resilient, determined, and capable of working flexibly in a dynamic environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
