Class 2 (C) HIAB HGV Driver
We are working with a client who is seeking for an HGV Class 2 (Cat C) HIAB driver to add to their team. The role itself requires the driver to have their HIAB licence along with understanding the nature of the role along with experience being desirable. You will be collecting cement, soil, stone, etc. This role requires an immediate start, for more details see below.
Main responsibilities:
- Collecting crushed agro with a clamshell grab.
- Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
- Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop
- Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Experience:
- Class 2 (Cat C) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes)
- Valid CPC
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Clean driving record
- HIAB Licence
Location:
Stoke on Trent
Salary:
£15.50 PH, 8 hours minimum paid per shift
Holiday pay accrued separately
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 0700 - 1700 days.
