Office Manager

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business near Dewsbury who are looking for an Office Manager to join their team. This is a ‘hands-on' role where you will be expected to handle a diverse range of responsibilities including a mix of finance and procurement duties. Full time (40 hours) and part-time (35 hours) will be considered.

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process sales ledger invoices
  • Credit control
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Check and process supplier invoices against purchase orders
  • Procurement – all purchasing on behalf of the business
  • Assist the Finance Director with main contract tender business
  • Drive cost savings through negotiation to pursuit best value for money
  • Investigate and resolve account queries
  • Tax vehicles
  • Billing for storage
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems
  • Ad hoc/admin duties

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Part AAT qualified (desirable)
  • Strong organisational, time management and multitasking skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
