Operations Assistant
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, 5 days in-office

We are representing a company that is at the forefront of design and manufacture, based in High Wycombe, to find a talented and proactive Operations Assistant. This role is offering a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in procurement or operations to join their growing supply chain team.
The ideal candidate will have:
? A degree in a relevant field (Logistics, Supply Chain Management)
? 2-3 years of experience in an operations or supply chain role, preferably in a commercial environment
? Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
? Experience using SAGE or other procurement software
? Excellent communication skills and confidence when liaising with suppliers and internal teams
? Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Key Responsibilities:
? Managing the sourcing and purchasing of materials and services, both locally and overseas
? Creating and managing purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company policies
? Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and quality standards are met
? Analysing procurement data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for process improvements
? Supporting and using SAGE MRP and utilising the system daily to enhance operational efficiency
? Collaborating with different teams and providing regular reports on procurement activities
