HR Manager

We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading international business who now have a new HR Manager opportunity available. Reporting to the HR Director you will be based on site at the office near Fakenham. Salary for the role will be £60k - £70k dependant on experience. You will be supporting sites across the UK and also in Germany and Poland so you will need to have a background in driving a global people strategy across different European locations to ensure fit for purpose.

Leading a team of 2 HR Professionals you will need to have a proven background in developing your team members and building relationships with key stakeholders. The business is going on a transformation journey and so it is essential that you have taken a company and senior leaders through harmonisations processes in order to align to a wider business strategy.

You must have proven stakeholder management skills in order to be successful in this role which will require you to build credible and lasting building relationships, which will be a key catalyst in influencing and driving culture change within the business. You must be comfortable with complex ER cases if they arise and be happy to really get involved in the operational partnering side.

We are seeking a commercial HR professional who have hands-on, practical approach and can thrive in a busy and diverse environment.

HR Manager- About you

  • You will need to have experience of working within a blue collar environment, with a diverse workforce ideally within manufacturing or Distribution, ideally in a global organisation.
  • A proven background of implementing a global people strategy in both UK and European territories.
  • A working knowledge of SEDEX/SMETA audits will be advantageous
  • Used to a blended role where strategic and operational influence are both key
  • You will have ideally utilised workday or a similar system.
  • The ability to work autonomously, to prioritise your time
  • Demonstrable skills in terms of up skilling and coaching managers
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • A true Senior generalist HR Business Partner background
  • You need to be comfortable being on site at their North Norfolk based sites.
