Customer Service Assistant

We are seeking dedicated Customer Service Assistants to join our clients team on a temporary basis with a view to becoming permanent after a qualifying period. This role is crucial as the main point of contact for service users, involving direct communication with occupational therapists, district nurses, doctors, and hospitals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy call centre environment and be adept at managing a high volume of calls and administrative tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Serve as the main point of contact for service users, handling approximately 80-100 calls per day.
- Make outbound calls and answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Liaise effectively with occupational therapists, district nurses, doctors, and hospitals to coordinate services.
- Manage bookings for the delivery and collection of medical equipment.
- Send daily emails and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Utilise spreadsheets, Word, and Google Drive daily to manage and document tasks and information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service role within a busy call centre.
- Strong ability to handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and Google Drive.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
Due to the location of the role, you will need your own transport.
