Junior Management Accountant
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester (Office based)
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 + Excellent Benefits
The Client:
Our client is a well-established accountancy firm with decades of experience offering expert services to their clients.
The Role:
As a Junior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts in accordance with FRS102a and FRS105 standards.
Duties:
- Creation of management accounts.
- Drafting corporation tax calculations.
- Performing bookkeeping tasks, including monthly reconciliations and journal entries.
- Assisting clients with payment runs, credit control, and related tasks.
- Setting up bank feeds, providing client support, and training.
- Managing VAT returns and submissions.
- Helping clients transition between software, such as from Sage to Xero.
- Highly efficient and organized, ensuring VAT deadlines are consistently met.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Experience in preparing year-end and management accounts.
- Ideally, AAT qualified.
- Background working with CIS clients.
- Skilled in Xero, Sage, and preferably QuickBooks.
- Familiarity or experience with personal tax returns would be beneficial.
- Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
