Management Accountant
- Daily Rate: Up to £380

- Job Type: Temporary (3-month assignment)
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant for a three-month temporary assignment with an FMCG company based in Gillingham. This role is a critical stop-gap between permanent employments, and while there is no possibility for a permanent role at the end of the assignment, it offers a competitive daily rate of up to £380, dependent on experience. The ideal candidate must be immediately available to meet the company's urgent needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Analysis and presentation of financial reports to senior management.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Managing and reconciling inventory accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with year-end audit preparation and support.
- Implementing and improving financial controls and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in management accounting within an FMCG environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be immediately available to start work.
