Grafton Banks Finance are keen to hear from immediately available accountants/senior bookkeepers based in the Eastbourne area. We are supporting an exciting business in the Eastbourne area, who are looking for temporary support for an initial 2-3 months, with an immediate start date.
Duties may include:
- Month end support: journals, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reports, reviewing financial statements, fixed asset register
- Sales Ledger: preparing sales invoices, reviewing aged debtors and creditor accounts.
- Purchase Ledger: reviewing supplier statements, reconciliations, setting up new accounts, uploading bank statements.
- Ad hoc: supporting the Finance Manager with monthly tasks, and ad hoc cover/projects.
The successful candidate for this role will:
- Be available on immediate notice (essential due to short-notice start) and free to commit to the role for a minimum of 2 months
- Able to commute to offices
- AAT level 3 or 4 qualified or qualified-by-experience
- Recent experience working as a Bookkeeper/Finance Manager/Accountant
