The Junior Procurement Project Executive will support the Procurement Project Lead through the collection, analysis, and management of information to ensure a robust understanding of tasks in scope and activities carried out. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and previous experience supporting business-critical and time-sensitive projects.

Description

  • Information Collection and Analysis:

  • Gather and compile data from various sources to support procurement transformation projects.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.

  • Support Project Management:

  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and schedules under the guidance of the Procurement Project Lead.

  • Track project progress and update project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Process Mapping and Documentation:

  • Help create detailed process maps of current ("as-is") procurement processes.

  • Document process changes and improvements to provide clear guidance for implementation.

  • Communication and Coordination:

  • Facilitate communication between the procurement team, stakeholders, and suppliers to gather necessary information and feedback.

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes to ensure effective communication and follow-up on action items.

  • Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain organized records of project-related data and documentation.

  • Prepare reports and presentations to summarize findings, project status, and recommendations for senior management.

  • Support Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues related to project tasks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor risk factors and support the implementation of corrective actions as needed.

Profile

  • Proven experience in supporting business-critical and time-sensitive projects, preferably in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
