Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Import Team Leader for a well established niche sector Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.
Role and Responsibilities:-
- Perform and complete daily customs clearance entries start to finish
- Supervise staff
- Responsible for all customs requirements
- Ensuring import compliance and HMRC regulations are adhered to
- Communicate with all relevant internal departments with regards to shipments
- Liaise with Airlines for BI and Shed transfers
- Arrange airline collections for transfer to ETSF
- Liaise with HMRC and other government bodies
- Dealing with a variety of commodities
- Release shipments from the warehouse
- Deal with all queries quickly and efficiently
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Self-managing and pro-active
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Competent with IT
- Proficient in using CDS
Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730
