Accounts Assistant
Based: Blackburn (hybrid after probation)
Salary: up to £26k + study support (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) + private healthcare + great benefits
My client are an industry leading, global business based in the Blackburn area. Having placed most of the finance team over the last few years, this is a truly fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment under a great mentor & manager who is passionate about your learning, development & progression. You will get the opportunity to work closely with a Management Accountant, assisting with month end and involved in a wide range of tasks
Role:
- Producing monthly MI packs
- Processing purchase invoices, cashbooks and producing daily cash report
- Bank reconciliations, posting costs to system
- Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations, assisting Management Accountant & Finance Manager at month end
- Debtors and creditors & expense reporting
- Assisting with half year and year end audits
- Processing recharges and intercompany dealings
- Credit checking new customers
- Assisting on projects across wider finance team
Experience:
- AAT studier
- At least 6 months experience in a finance role
- Proactive, forward thinking and keen to develop
- Good knowledge of Excel and finance systems
- A good communicator who is truly organised and used to working in a fast paced environment
