Accounts Receivable Clerk | £25,000 - £27,000 | Bolton + Hybrid | PE-backed business | High-calibre team
Axon Moore delighted to be partnering with an ambitious, high-growth PE-backed business in Bolton to recruit an Accounts Receivable specialist to take ownership for AR processes including debtor management, bank reconciliations and much more.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing the sales ledger inbox, including resolving queries
- Management of the debtor ledger, analysing movements and trends
- Ensuring prompt raising of invoices
- Monthly reconciliation of systems
- Continual review and improvement of accounts receivable processes and controls
- Managing customer accounts on the system, i.e. credit notes
- Ensuring the correct VAT is applied to all invoices raised
- Bank reconciliations
- Ad-hoc reporting
Required Experience and Skills:
- At least 1 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-keeping skills
- High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Prior exposure to month-ends
