Description
Data Management:
- Ensure daily tasks with regards to system updates and pricing updates are completed
- Assist and lead in data preparation for category reviews and tenders
- Request, review, analyse and report on Supplier Data
- Assist in analysis of rebate tracker data and the chasing of trackers with suppliers
- Co-ordinate new supplier set-ups and approvals through our onboarding processes and systems in conjunction with the Supply Chain Team
- Support the Strategic Sourcing Teams on contract build and execution, including loading onto our Contract Software System.
- Support business sourcing requirements and ensure rebate detail from contracts is accurately captured on the trackers.
General Admin:
- Support the Strategic Sourcing Teams to ensure that the product and price files are continuously and accurately updated.
- Support the Team on key project deliveries.
- Assist the Directors and Managers in ensuring business compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with logistics and disseminate information across the buying team.
Supplier Performance Management:
- Compliance report analysis for key suppliers
- Provide input to Monthly Supplier Reviews
- Support and attend Monthly Supplier Reviews where required.
Key Requirements:
- Experience of working in buying function or procurement team is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to self start and work off own initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team focus.
- Ability to establish, build and harness long-term relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work and deliver to deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise workload and differentiate between urgent and important tasks.
- Excellent analytical and numerical ability, particularly through Excel.
