Your new role

My client is seeking an enthusiastic individual for an entry-level Scrum Master role. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in agility, an understanding of its benefits, and some experience or self-study in working in an agile way. You will facilitate and support the day-to-day running of teams implementing projects, service improvements, and operational change.

As a Scrum Master, you will ensure that Scrum teams work effectively towards business objectives being delivered to high-quality standards. You will confidently facilitate scrum stand-ups & workshops, enabling teams to deliver value. You will coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles and values, act as a servant leader to several teams, leading by example, and help the team to identify and remove impediments.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Educated to degree level and/or equivalent qualifications and experience. (Desirable)
  • Certified Agile Scrum Master. (Desirable)
  • ITIL Foundation qualifications. (Desirable)
  • Enthusiastic Agile practitioner (Essential)
  • Exceptional people management skills, with a particular emphasis on interpersonal and negotiating skills. (Essential)
  • Significant experience in development projects. (Desirable)
  • Experience working on Infrastructure, Platforms or Cybersecurity Projects. (Desirable)
  • Significant experience of managing / leading, inspiring, engaging and motivating a team and colleagues to achieve excellent results. (Desirable)
  • Excellent conversational, relationship and interpersonal skills. (Essential)
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. (Essential)
  • Innovative and proactive approach to solutions and work. (Essential)
  • Ability to identify and manage priorities. (Essential)
  • Willingness to update professional knowledge and a commitment to continuous improvement. (Essential)
