A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning Administrator to join a successful Wealth Management practice in Tyne and Wear.

This role will involve full technical and administrative support to a team of busy financial planners who give advice on estate planning, retirement planning, investments, inheritance tax and protection.

This role will come with development opportunities, prgression and study support. You will be supported if you wish to work towards a Paraplanner or Financial Planner role in the future.

Accountabilities

  • General support to Advisers and Paraplanners in servicing clients, including preparation for meetings and individual advisory projects.
  • Day-to-day administration tasks such as dealing with client enquiries, taking telephone calls, obtaining information from providers and electronic filing.
  • Maintaining client information accurately on the firm's back-office data base and Investment platforms. Keeping compliant paper records for all financial planning services.
  • Producing appropriate, clear and accurate written correspondence to a high standard, both to providers and clients via email and by post.
  • Dealing effectively with the submission of new business, including accurate completion and submission of application forms, submission of business via platforms and online.
  • Assist and produce portfolio valuations and keeping relevant client data current and up to date.

Key Skills

In order to be considered for the role of Financial Planning Administrator, candidates will ideally come from a similar background, ideally having worked in an independent financial planning practice. You will be a strong administrator with excellent organisation and customer-care skills, attention to detail and accuracy as the norm.

NB Salary is dependent on exprience and level of qualification, top end would be payable for a candidate who would require minimal training.
