About the Role: As an R&D Tax Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in helping clients unlock the full potential of their R&D activities. You will work closely with innovative companies across a diverse range of industries, advising them on how to maximise the value of their R&D tax relief claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage R&D tax relief claims for a portfolio of high-profile clients.
  • Provide expert advice on the financial aspects of R&D tax relief and how to apply it effectively to different business models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, review, and analyse technical and financial information.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their trusted advisor on R&D tax matters.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in R&D tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of the latest developments.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified in ATT, CTA, or ACA.
  • Demonstrable experience in R&D tax relief, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of R&D tax legislation and its application.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
