Job Title: Stores and Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Lincoln, LN6 3AD

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Contract Length: 3 months initially.

Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday, 08:00am-16:00pm

The Role:

Join our client, a globally recognised multinational technology conglomerate, at their Lincoln depot. As a Stores and Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials through the logistics centre. Using electronic stock management systems and operating forklifts, you will contribute to efficient stock control and accurate order fulfilment.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise stock management system to control inventory.
  • Receive, inspect, and despatch materials.
  • Update order/materials databases.
  • Assist in identifying materials and raise order requests.
  • Assemble and pack materials according to logistical demands.
  • Carefully load and unload trucks to ensure goods are moved and stored without damage.
  • Perform checks on handling devices and systems.
  • Regularly check storage facilities to ensure optimal conditions.
  • Coordinate transportation of materials to other depots/suppliers.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers.
  • Implement and comply with safety policies.
  • Communicate health and safety responsibilities to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Forklift licence (reach/counterbalance).
  • Experience using an SAP system (ideally Equinox or Maximo)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Desirable:

  • Full driving licence.
  • Previous experience in a similar stores role.
  • Basic engineering knowledge.
