What You'll Be Doing:
Join our client's pharmacy team as an ACT and play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medication. In this role, you will:

  • Carry out final accuracy checks on homecare prescriptions
  • Support the pharmacist by assisting with dispensing tasks
  • Supervise the dispensing and supply of medicines in accordance with SOPs
  • Promote quality, safety, and continuous improvement across pharmacy services
  • Help train and develop pharmacy staff
  • Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, Medicines Act, Good Distribution Practice, and Clinical Governance policies

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services
  • Current GPhC registration as a pharmacy technician
  • Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician qualification
  • A strong attention to detail and a patient-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am–6:00pm. There may be occasional paid overtime if daily tasks are not completed by 6:00pm, though this is infrequent.
