Marketing Analyst Loyalty

Forward Role are proud to be exclusively working with JD Sports, the highly successful global ecommerce retailer, with their HQ in Bury. We are supporting with the search for their next Marketing Analyst to join a dedicated analytics team focusing on all things Campaign, Customer and Loyalty data.

The Marketing Analyst will be instrumental in driving the success of campaigns run through JD's loyalty programme, increasing customer loyalty and value to the business.

You will provide insight and recommendations on how to optimise the impact of campaigns, and you will undertake customer analytics to identify and inform how JD targets the right offer, to the right customers, at the right time.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and enjoy working collaboratively with the wider loyalty team. You will have experience of using a wide range of analytical tools to understand customer behaviour and have had experience of campaign segmentation using SQL.

Location: Bury - 4 days a week in the office.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Measure the impact of loyalty campaigns and provide insight and recommendations on how to improve performance and maximise business results
  • Run campaign segmentation to produce audiences and groups for targeted campaigns and CRM communications
  • Perform customer analytics on the loyalty customer base to inform loyalty strategy and forecast performance of future activity
  • Create and maintain a repository of campaign insights and learnings and democratise these to relevant stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting on campaign performance and other loyalty business processes and present findings to stakeholders at all levels
  • Automate, optimise and standardise existing campaign processes whilst helping to integrate new campaign martech
  • Support the wider loyalty team with analysis

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced organisation in a similar Customer / Marketing analytics role
  • Customer segmentation and working with loyalty programmes is highly desirable
  • Retail or ecommerce background, or customer focused experience is ideal
  • Commercial experience using SQL is essential
  • R or Python would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Ability to own and manage end-to-end data analytics and reporting projects
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management
  • You will have a process improvement mindset and are happy to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret statistical information.
  • Ability to think strategically.
