Description
- Manage and calculate payrolls accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and company regulations.
- Collaborate with HR to validate and update employee data.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries about payroll issues.
- Generate reports for upper management, finance department and auditors.
- Participate in payroll audits and liaise with auditors.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll operations and employee information.
- Stay updated on payroll tax laws and regulations.
Profile
A successful Payroll Technician should have:
- A strong foundation in finance or accounting.
- Proven experience in a payroll department or similar role.
- Proficiency in relevant payroll software and MS Excel (pivot tables and look-ups)
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities.
Job Offer
- An estimated hourly wage between £16.20 - £19.80.
