We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Welding Lecturer to join our Engineering department. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for welding and a desire to inspire apprenticeship students across levels 2 – 3.
Welding Lecturer
- Annual Salary: £27,494 - £39,131 (market supplement may apply)
- Location: Redhill
- Job Type: Full-time
Day to Day of the role of a Welding Lecturer:
- Deliver teaching and assess Engineering programmes, particularly focusing on welding, to apprenticeship students.
- Plan and prepare lessons and assignments that engage and challenge students.
- Promote attendance and a positive learning environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development, and review of activities within the subject area.
- Support and complete quality assurance processes.
- Assess students' work and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications required for the Welding Role:
- A teaching qualification (at level 3 or above).
- A relevant subject qualification in welding at Level 3 (or above).
- Experience in delivering and assessing welding courses.
- Relevant teaching or training experience.
- Some experience in quality assurance is highly preferable.
