Gifford and Partners / Executive GAP have been retained to appoint a Finance Director based in Leeds in what will be a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision of a business that continues to show fast growth. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders and influence key business decisions, ensuring optimal performance and growth for all stakeholders. Not only will the role collaborate with the Managing Director and Board to assess and implement the business strategic initiatives, but also partner with third-party consultants to ensure robust internal insights and challenge during strategy development. As Finance Director, you will support commercial evaluations and negotiations for new ventures, facilitating the successful execution of change initiatives. Other responsibilities will include and not be limited to;
- Lead the FP&A team in managing the short and mid-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and presenting plans to the Board.
- Oversee accurate monthly forecasting and reporting of financial performance.
- Drive the ongoing development and implementation of business planning software.
- Provide financial leadership and support to Commercial and Procurement leaders, guiding a mid-sized finance team of experienced finance professionals.
- Serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team, fostering collaboration across departments.
Essentially, this role is targeting someone with a proven and credible commercial and strategic delivery with no less than 6 year post qualified exposure ACMA/ACA/ACCA. Providing financial stewardship to a team of experienced and qualified individuals, previous management of a mid-sized teams is a given at this level.
