Label Manager - Electronic Music

Handle are please to be working an exciting dance label who are seeking a Label Manager. Your role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, spanning from overseeing multi-artist compilations to driving digital initiatives. In this dynamic role, they require a highly organised and adaptable individual who can swiftly respond to the demands of the position while efficiently managing multiple concurrent projects. Effective communication skills are essential, as you will be interfacing directly with artists and their managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and implement innovative marketing strategies, encompassing asset delivery, marketing plans, and timelines.
  • Expand relationships with artists, managers, agents, pluggers, external PR agencies, distribution partners, DSPs, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Oversee and track the coordination and execution of campaign timelines.
  • Manage all aspects of release administration, as well as various reporting and support duties as required.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of all necessary assets to designated platforms.
  • Supervise all associated audio channels.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Multiple years of relevant label experience,
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge and expertise in the UK music industry, particularly within the realms of house and techno genres.
  • Genuine passion for independent music and a track record of collaborating with emerging labels and artists.
  • A well-established network of connections in the artist, manager, label, press, and PR spheres.
  • Proficiency in understanding the streaming market, digital platforms, and social media.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with and comprehension of music publishing, licensing, and synchronisation processes.
