Nigel Wright are working in partnership with a leading chemical manufacturing company who are looking for a new Customer Service Manager to join them to implement and further develop the high levels of customer service.

The role...
This role needs someone with previous experience as a Customer Service Manager within manufacturing or similar industry. Some of the key focus and duties of this position as follows:
- Deal with customer orders ensuring promptly dealt with and follow up documents provided in a timely manner.
- Deal with requests for data sheets and other related information.
- Be aware of payment terms and performance of customers to ensure deadlines are met
- Manage customer complaint system.
- Review existing customer service processes/procedures. Identify and implement improvements where required.
- Set and track performance against key performance measures.
- Monitor customer feedback
- Develop customer order forecasting process.
- Formalise customer quoting system, and develop tracking system including trial products.
- Support the MD in identifying new customer opportunities in the UK
- Identify and prepare new marketing materials for the business.
- Contribute to our social media input to continue to raise the profile of the business.

This position requires someone with previous experience as a Customer Service Manager, implementing new procedures, reporting and a forward thinking approach to continuingly improving the efficiency for both the organisation and their customers. Some of the key skills we are looking for in the right applicants is:
- Leadership and Team building
- Organised and disciplined approach to work
- Numeracy and IT skills – Excel and Word
- Good negotiator and good communication skills – dealing with all levels of management and external customers.
- 5 GCSE including Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
