Receptionist

  • Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Shift-based rota: 8am-4:30pm or 9:30am-6pm, Monday to Friday)
  • Office based

We are seeking a proactive and personable individual to fill the role of Receptionist/Admin Assistant. This role is a hybrid between front desk responsibilities and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a background in reception and/or administration.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Greeting and meeting visitors at the front desk in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Managing incoming calls and correspondence, ensuring a swift and accurate response.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as preparing letters, managing files, and other documentation.
  • Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area.
  • Assisting with various admin duties as required to support the team.
  • Adapting to a flexible shift-based rota system within the office hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administration role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using office software for word processing, email, and administrative tasks.
  • A friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
