Our client, a leading boutique ESG-focused investment firm, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant with the potential to take on a broader range of tasks as the role develops.
Your new role
Working in a small finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable duties including processing and paying invoices
- Inbox management
- Assistance with production of month-end management accounts and management information packs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assistance with budgeting and forecasting
- Assistance with verifying the accuracy of fund accounts
- Supporting the audit process
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum two years of accounting experience gained within a small to medium enterprise
- Ideally working towards a professional accounting qualification
- Intermediate Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
