Our client, a leading provider of Satellite Communications and IT-managed solutions is hiring for a NavCom Field Engineer. They have over 50 years of experience in the Government and Maritime sectors and offer a range of services including broadband VSAT, navigation, and GMDSS systems, enabling their clients to communicate globally at sea, on land, and in the air.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct VDR-APTs and radio surveys
- Install, repair, and maintain GMDSS and navigational equipment
- Install, repair, and maintain VSAT satellite broadband systems
- Support retrofit projects, including bridge installs and system integrations
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- HNC/ONC/NVQ or equivalent in Engineering/IT
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of electronic/electrical engineering
- Valid driving licence and passport
- GMDSS Radio Operator/Maintainer License (preferred)
