Job Overview:
We are looking for proactive and capable Cover Supervisors to join our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a strong ability to manage and support students across various subjects when teachers are absent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure that students follow the set work and complete tasks as directed.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Provide support to students as needed and manage any behavioural issues.
- Liaise with teachers and school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to cover supervision as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and teaching styles.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in education are advantageous.
