About The Role
Our Transport Supervisors are dedicated to ensuring seamless operations at our Depot. They collaborate closely with our drivers and transport team to ensure timely delivery of our appliances and electrical products every day. You can rely on them to maintain efficient operations like a finely-tuned engine.
- Salary: £27,000 - £30,500 per annum
- Hours: 4 on 4 off, 8:00 am-20:00pm (40.25 hours)
- Job Type: Full-time and permanent contract
- Location: Unit 200 Focal Point, Fleming Way, Crawley, RH10 9DF
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Check that all vehicles are secure and meet required transport legislation requirements
- Monitor delivery performance throughout the day
- Support training for new starters
- Briefing team daily/weekly on key priorities and workload
- Provide ongoing communication & support with our drivers
- Complete in-house reports daily
- Complete alcohol testing when required
A Few Things About You
- Some understanding of transport legislation and logistics
- Challenge any vehicle issues or damages with our Drivers
- Ability to solve problems and make Key decisions
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel
