Finance Project Manager

Venn Group are partnering with an organisation to recruit an interim Finance Project Manager.

The role will lead a critical project aimed at updating and modernizing the finance system and processes. This is a 6-month contract position, perfect for a proactive individual with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Initiation: Develop comprehensive project plans, conduct feasibility studies, and define roles and responsibilities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with various departments, facilitate regular meetings, and manage expectations.
  • Resource Management: Lead a project team, allocate resources, and monitor performance.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of the new finance system.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement testing procedures and conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Manage the project budget and track costs.
  • Risk Management: Monitor risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Project Closure: Ensure all deliverables are completed and conduct post-implementation reviews.

Skills & Experience:

  • PMI, PRINCE2 Foundation, or other relevant project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience managing finance projects.
  • Strong understanding of finance systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Experience with data migration, system integration, and user training.
