Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnered with P&B Metal Components to recruit a Toolroom Manager to join their leadership team in Sheffield.
P&B Metal Components have over 60 years of experience designing and manufacturing high-quality precision engineered components. They are one of the most versatile contact assembly manufacturers operating in a global market of over 200 customers across 30 countries with manufacturing sites located conveniently in Asia and Europe.
The Toolroom Manager will report to the Managing Director and their focus will be to create a long-term sustainable toolroom operation through innovation and personal development. The Toolroom Manager will dedicate time to upskilling and integrating new personnel and supporting P&B Metal Components with its challenges, long-term strategies and goals.
Salary is negotiable from £50,000 p.a.

Duties of the Toolroom Manager will include:
- Monitor and mentor the performance of all toolroom employees on their daily tasks
- Oversee and prioritise daily breakdowns and distribute jobs within the tool room
- Attend the daily Production meeting to update the leadership team on the Toolroom activities relative to the production schedule
- Liaise with the Technical department regarding any potential Tooling modifications
- Provide input detail on relevant Quality concerns
- Review and Report on Toolroom personnel performance, identifying areas of concern and giving recommendations for improvement
- Support the company-wide Continuous Improvement Initiative program
