Bookkeeper - Accountancy Practice
Reed are currently recruiting on behalf of a 4-partner practice based near Liverpool Street, who are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their expanding team. This is a great opportunity for any experienced bookkeepers, looking for a new challenge in a dynamic, organisation based near Liverpool Street.
The firm has 4 partners, and a total headcount of just under 30 people. There is a great social atmosphere in the office, with most people coming into the office 5 days a week. However, there would be scope to discuss two days working from home following probation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Bookkeeping
- VAT returns
- Management accounts
- Exposure to preparation of year end accounts after around a year
- Your main clients will be in sectors including recruitment, shipping, architecture, and retail
There are no specific qualifications required for this role, but AAT qualification would be desirable. You will have at least 3 years experience in a bookkeeping role, with past exposure to VAT returns and management accounts.
