We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Manager to join an established FMCG organisation based in Reigate, with a competitive salary range of up to £70,000.
As a key member of our supply chain team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing demand planning processes through thorough research and analysis of sales trends. This will involve developing and implementing strategies to optimise inventory levels, improve supply chain efficiency, and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience as a demand planner or demand planning manager within the supply chain industry, with a strong understanding of demand forecasting and planning principles.
Role responsibilities of the Demand Planning Manager include:
- Provide leadership and direction to scheduling and orders to accomplish order fulfillment objectives
- Develop master production plan to accommodate customer demand within practical production capabilities
- Develop availability and inventory strategies that satisfy product need of the business
- Coordinate and facilitate S&OP meetings regularly
- Oversee analysis and development of forecasts
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
Person Specification of the Demand Planning Manager:
- Previous experience in a demand planning position within a fast-paced environment
- Confident in utilising Microsoft Suites including Excel
- Experience managing a team
- Confident in dealing with all levels of people in a professional manner
- Driven and motivated individual with a desire to progress
