HR Advisor

Square Peg Associates is actively recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a dynamic, forward thinking team. You will have a knowledgeable, open, confident and personable approach to all aspects of HR and be able to work with Production staff, Team Leaders and Management. The ideal HR Advisor will be hardworking, dedicated, communicative and have internal recruitment experience.

Salary is commensurate with experience, circa £28,000k - £30,000k per annum + excellent company benefits.

Job Description

  • Reviewing existing HR policies and creating new policies whilst considering implementing further company benefits if deemed appropriate
  • Support with all staff and management ER Employee Relations problems or disputes and help with a resolution
  • Support with all aspects of recruitment, helping the department heads with adverts and selection process
  • Responsible for maintaining all Personnel and HR files including starters and leavers
  • Updating the employee handbook and keep abreast of employment law, policies and procedures
  • Monitoring sickness and holidays and reporting to the Senior Management team
  • Administering working Hours and Payroll detail
  • Working on ad-hoc HR Projects

Personal Specification:

  • Hands on experience in a HR environment required (approximately 3 years +)
  • Good knowledge of current employment law
  • Internal Recruitment experience - sifting, selection and interviews
  • Able to communicate at all levels
  • Approachable with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A natural people person / motivator
