A successful furniture company is on the lookout for a diligent, dependable, and proactive Business Development Executive to join their team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ambitious, thrives on organization and efficiency, and has a passion for sales. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Day to day of the role:
- Engage with potential customers to increase their spending and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain consistent contact with existing customers to foster strong relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
- Re-engage inactive customers and address any issues to bring them back into the fold.
- Follow up on inquiries and deals to ensure customer needs are met and sales are closed.
- Assist the Area Sales Manager with various tasks to drive sales growth, including scheduling meetings and following up on actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a telephone-based sales role.
- Proactive selling skills with a keen eye for sales and growth opportunities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Resilience and determination to succeed.
- Proficiency in various IT systems.
- Confidence in negotiation and persuasive skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
