Techunite Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a leading technology solutions company for a Logistics Coordinator.
You will be working under the operations team based out of the Reading office (Hybrid Remote 3 days in the office), supporting manufacturing processes by organising the shipping of customer orders to various allocations around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use online portals to create daily shipping requests to support customer orders
- Provide all documentation to the manufacturing team to enable smooth transit of customer orders to customer sites worldwide
- Monitor customer shipments and implement solutions to resolve any problems that arise
- Identify both process and cost saving improvements in the process
- Maintain good understanding of global shipping requirements
- Assist in arranging inbound shipments of stock from suppliers
- Support audit tracking by ensuring suitable shipping records are kept
Key Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in an international shipping role is essential
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to build good relationships with couriers and team members
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to understand and interpret laws and regulations
- Technical competence in Microsoft applications
