Billing Specialist
We are recruiting a Billing Specialist to:
- Deliver clear, accurate and effective billing and payment solutions for their B2C and B2B2C customers and
- Bring fresh ideas and innovation to deliver a new wholesale platform to drive billing activity.
Working in this high growth, fast paced telecommunications environment your key responsibilities will include:
- Full operational management of customer billing and cash collection, ensuring that billing is fully aligned with operational KPIs
- Key stakeholder in building, designing and operating company billing platforms - including new systems, migrating and decommissioning legacy systems, and continuous improvement
- Develop robust cash collection across the customer base
- Develop effective reporting on customer invoicing, aged debt performance, KPI performance which will feed into associated scorecards and management information
- Segmental billing and off net gross margin reporting and trend analysis; collaborate with the commercial team and provide feedback on commercial contracts specifically their impact on billing and gross margin
Your profile:
- 3-4 years' experience of working in an operational wholesale billing and revenue assurance role
- Delivering systems and process changes
- Building processes and implementing financial controls for billing
- Working across multiple channels, wholesale, resellers, B2B and B2B2C
- Proficient in accounting software (ideally NetSuite), Excel and CRM platforms (ideally Salesforce)
- Strong analytically with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced transformation / scale up environment and manage deadlines
Hybrid: 1-2 days per week in the Reading office.
