Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:
- Handling accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Performing bank reconciliations including foreign currencies.
- Preparing weekly payment runs for supplier payments.
- Processing staff expenses and credit cards.
- Maintaining the petty cash records and completion of a cash reconciliation every month.
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
- Preparing and processing invoices, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Assisting with month-end procedures.
The successful Accounts Assistant will require:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage 200 and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
