Job Purpose

  • Manage a varied audit portfolio, working closely with clients to conduct audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Undertake site visits at clients' premises, supervising junior staff.
  • Review the work of junior audit staff, providing constructive mentorship.
  • Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to problem solving, being a trusted advisor for audit queries.
  • Support business development for the firm, identifying new service lines for existing and potential clients.
  • Set an example for the team as a natural leader.

Job Requirements?

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified
  • At least 2-3 years' varied audit experience within practice.
  • Working knowledge of FRS 120, FRS 105, and the Companies Act 2006.
  • Corporation tax knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with Charities is desirable.
  • Previous supervisory experience, with good people management skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure.
  • Committed to delivering the highest quality service.
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
