Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner with a prestigious Hospitality Group located in Central London. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Interim Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts payable professional to contribute to a thriving company in the heart of the city.

Key responsibilities of the successful Accounts Payable Clerk will include:

  • Accurately process a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring timely and correct entry into the accounting system.
  • Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring all payments are made in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Address and resolve supplier and internal queries efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and support the finance team as needed.

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will require:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
