Interim Transactional Supervisor

Robertson Bell are supporting this Not-for-Profit organisation to recruit an Interim Transactional Supervisor on an initial 6-month contract. The head office is based in Central London, operating on a hybrid working pattern, asking that three days per week be spent in the office.

The Interim Transactional Supervisor's responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Purchase Ledger - authorising high value payments and ensuring all key information is accurate.
  • Directly line managing a team of Finance Officers, providing on the job training and being their main point of contact for queries and escalations.
  • Maintaining and building strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Processing expenses, payment runs, aged creditor reports – ensuring all income is allocated correctly.
  • Occasionally reconciling the bank accounts.

The successful Interim Transactional Supervisor will have:

  • Experience working in an Accounts Payable role – ideally having managed an Accounts Payable department.
  • Used numerous finance systems and Excel, with the ability to use VLOOKUPs, formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience managing a team of finance professionals.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail.
