Our client, a leading company in the design of plants for the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced and dynamic project manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the full lifecycle of projects (Commercial/ planning/ construction/ commissioning/ operations) and of course be a part of a rapidly expanding industry.

Skills/ Qualifications:

- Engineering background (Mechanical/ Civil/ Chemical/ Process)
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience within a relevant sector
- Managing the full lifecycle of such projects
- Plant design for the process engineering industry (Petro-chem/ Oil & Gas/ Water/ Power plants/ Pharma)
- Renewables/ AD industry knowledge would be advantageous

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Taking responsibility for Health and Safety, Time and Budget deliverables of their Project(s).
- Managing multiple engineering disciplines required to deliver the project including civils, electrical, mechanical, process, electrical and automation
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various stakeholders during all phases of the project
- Ensure resource availability and allocation while monitoring progress against plan schedule.
- Manage changes effectively by communicating implications both internally externally ensuring relevant action has been taken by stakeholders where necessary
- lead project teams consisting of technical and construction staff
- Handle procurement & commercial aspects of projects
- Identify risks associated with each stage of the project through careful analysis of technical documents; anticipate potential problems before they occur so corrective measures can be implemented quickly when needed
