Your new role

My client is recruiting for a dynamic and creative Marketing and Social Media Manager to join their team. This Marketing & Social Media Manager will be reporting to the Sales Director. They are looking for a candidate who has strong knowledge of marketing strategies and social media platforms, along with experience in content creation, campaign management, and brand awareness. This role will involve planning, executing, and monitoring the company's marketing strategies across various channels to increase online presence and drive customer engagement. Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage content for various platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to audience engagement, comments, and messages.
  • Analyse and report social media performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on trends, algorithm changes, and best practices across all social platforms.
  • Write and optimise content for the website, blogs, email campaigns, and other digital media.
  • Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all marketing materials.
  • Manage relationships with influencers, partners, and external content creators.
  • Plan, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and paid ads.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Analyse data to inform future campaigns and optimise marketing activities.
  • Ensure that all marketing efforts align with the brand's tone, style, and values.
  • Monitor brand mentions, online reviews, and feedback, responding appropriately to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Assist in the development of the overall marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop targeted marketing approaches to attract potential customers.
  • Main lead for organising events and exhibitions to promote the company.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, marketing tools, and analytics.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and content creation.
  • Experience with paid advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a bonus.
  • Data analysis & reporting, project management and brand strategy
