Hall General Manager

Burnham Parish Council is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking and considerate General Manager, to lead the marketing, operations and management of Burnham Park Hall.

Burnham Park Hall is the hub and centre of the community, and hosts many events as well as regular bookings in a beautiful modern building within the delightful setting of Burnham Park.

Burnham Parish Council, who own the building and employ the manager, comprises 17 councillors, around 15 staff, and a total budget around £1million. The council is ambitious for the future, and the Hall is a flagship asset.

The Hall General Manager works with Councillors and with the Parish Clerk, and will be ably assisted by a very hard-working team of permanent and casual staff.

The postholder must been keen, competent and have attention to detail in areas such as marketing, personnel management, and health and safety. High levels of motivation, creative thinking, and strong communication skills are essential. Previous hospitality management, financial management, marketing and line management experience is an advantage.

Salary Scale £33,024 - £36,648 (SCP-28)

Negotiation possible for exceptional candidate

37 hours a week, flexible
