An exciting and innovative B2B SaaS company, is seeking a highly motivated QA Tester to join our team in London. The company specialises in solutions for the retail media industry, offering a platform that streamlines the full marketing campaign cycle.

  • Location: London
  • Work Schedule: Hybrid, 1-2 days a week in the office but open to less
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Salary Band: £53,000+ with a 10% bonus

The Job

As the QA Tester, your responsibilities will include:

  • Guide and manage the QA team to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure a deep understanding and thorough coverage of business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Design and implement robust QA strategies, test cases, processes, and best practices.
  • Oversee the detailed creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of QA team members by providing necessary guidance and training.
  • Regularly review QA processes and outcomes to identify improvement areas and drive continuous enhancement.
  • Manage the defect lifecycle, ensuring timely identification, reporting, and resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate with external clients and stakeholders to address quality-related concerns and ensure satisfaction.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the QA function.

You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer in a technology company, with a successful track record in a lead or management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in automated testing frameworks and scripting languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Effective defect management and resolution, ensuring timely fixes and clear communication.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall QA function and team performance.
