Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Conduct detailed analysis of their business processes and systems.
- Gather, document, and validate their business requirements.
- Translate their business requirements into functional specifications for IT development.
- Work closely with their IT teams to ensure solutions meet their business needs and align with their strategic goals.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and clarify requirements.
- Develop process models and workflows to support system implementations.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions for process improvements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user manuals.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure quality solutions.
- Provide support during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Conduct training sessions and create user training materials.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of business processes, systems analysis, and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and validation.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with process modelling tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are desirable.
