Recruitment Coordinator

  • Job Type: Temporary (8 weeks)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary £14 for recruitment admin experience and £15 an hour for internal recruitment experience.

We are seeking a dedicated Recruitment Coordinator for an 8-week temporary assignment to support our client's internal recruitment processes. This role is based in our Ipswich office, which offers free parking. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing various stages of the recruitment cycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conducting interviews and assessing candidate suitability for various roles within the organisation.
  • Diligently chasing and obtaining references for potential new hires.
  • Performing compliance checks and ensuring eligibility to work (ETW) documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Managing the offer process for successful candidates and handling rejections with professionalism.
  • Maintaining organised records of all recruitment activities and candidate communications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in recruitment or a similar HR role, with a focus on interviewing and candidate selection.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with candidates and internal teams.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring all compliance and ETW checks are completed to a high standard.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and Microsoft Office Suite.
