Management Accountant
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Contract: Permanent, full time, hybrid working
Your role:
- Performing month-end accounting processes to ensure accurate, complete, and reliable financial information.
- Providing clear narratives for interpreting key financial data and helping divisional finance teams understand risks and opportunities.
- Preparing meaningful balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Delivering high-quality reports and insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Offering excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborating across teams to provide effective financial reporting support.
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles and maintaining robust internal controls.
- Supporting external audits and process improvements.
- Staying informed about source data and financial systems.
- Adapting to operational changes and assisting with projects.

Qualifications:
- Qualified by experience or part qualified
- Experienced with finance and ERP software together with a strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI would be an advantage but not an essential)
- Prioritise workload and deliver high quality financial information
- Large company experience is an essential
- Knowledge of the retail and hospitality industry is an advantage.
