The role:
Gresham College are looking to hire an Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant will provide key business support to the Executive Director and the Senior Leadership Team of Gresham College. Working closely with the Executive Director, you will play a key role in organising the College's work and ensuring that its senior management and College Council are well administered and effective.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- To provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Members of College Council and Senior Leaders.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director in diary management, including correspondence, minute taking, arranging meetings, hosting guests and preparing reports.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Fundraising and Engagement, including assisting with correspondence, sending acknowledgements of donations, record keeping and arranging meetings.
- Governance Administration to support the work of the Council and its subcommittees and associated groups, including elements such as giving notice of meetings, preparation of papers for meetings, minute taking and follow up, maintaining appropriate records of trustee details and interests.
- To support Gresham events, attending and assisting at lectures and events as agreed.
- To undertake such other duties as may from time to time be required.
- Support to the Executive Director in HR Administration, including maintenance of staff records on Breathe (admin system), collection of appropriate personnel files, staff recruitment administration and record keeping, administrative support for Academic recruitment.
Person specification:
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
